Family friendly pub which we discovered while walking a section of the John Muir way with babies on our backs! The inn offers hot food and a children's menu. It also has a children's play area in the beer garden, though this is more suited to older toddlers and up. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and understanding when our babies weren't the tidiest eaters.

We had a lovely day out at this social enterprise-run venue on the outskirts of Lanark. There is a cafe with an excellent selection of cakes, as well as light meals. There is also a shop with a cute selection of nature-themed items and plants for sale. We enjoyed exploring the playground and delightful nature trail. The cafe displays Breastfeeding Friendly accreditation.

Large garden centre stocking a wide range of plants, gardening equipment and garden furnishings. It also sections for clothing, books, food, pet care and gifts. The cafe is popular, with plenty of space for prams, and offers cakes and hot food. There is a small farm shop on site, adjacent to the main garden centre building. The surrounding Mortonhall estate offers lovely walks, and the chance to see some Highland cows!

Large Morrisons supermarket with cafe and in-store Timpsons concession. Free parking including parent and child spaces.

Large city-centre shopping mall, featuring a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as a cinema. There are two parent and baby rooms in the centre - the most obvious is the one next to the toilets on the mezzanine level, but the one in the foodcourt is nicer and larger. This latter room is kept locked, but foodcourt staff can give access.

Cafe and interiors shop in Cathcart. Staff were very accomodating to us when visiting with two babies, and were able to provide high chairs (with trays!) and children's cutlery. They were also happy to prepare the wee ones' food without salt. The cafe displays a "Breastfeeding Welcome Here" sticker.

Multi-facted venue in the scenic village of Balmaha, on the shores of Loch Lomond. The Oak Tree Inn offers accomodation, a restaurant, a small shop selling gifts and supplies, and a cafe selling coffee and ice cream. We ate at the restaurant, which has high chairs and a children's menu.

Artisan coffee shop on Dalry Road, near Haymarket station. The cafe has high chairs, as well as coloruing materials and picture books for kids. When we visited there was plenty of room for the buggy, and staff enjoyed interacting with the wee one.

Branch of the popular Italian restaurant chain, located at the west end of Princes Street. As I was solo parenting on the day of my visit, this review only includes the facilities in the female toilets; I'm not sure if there are also baby changing facilities in the male toilets.
